Cappy (シャルハッピ Sharuhapi) is a semi-canon pair between Fairy Tail Exceed Mages, Happy and Carla, from Extalia.
Happy[]
Happy (ハッピー Happī) is an Exceed from Extalia, a member of the Fairy Tail Guild and Team Natsu.
Happy is a small blue Exceed with a white underbelly. He has a rectangular head, with pink ears, big black eyes with small, thin eyebrows, and light blue cheek marks near to his tiny whiskers (two on each side of his face). Happy has a triangular nose that leads to semi-round upper lisps on the sides. Happy's body is rectangular too, and being an Exceed, it has a structure that allows him to walk erect unlike normal cats. Despite having no thumbs, Happy is able to hold things. He has a long, white-tipped tail; and the other parts of his tail are blue. Additionally, Happy is able to use his tail to hold onto objects. Happy is usually seen carrying around a green backpack, where he keeps food and items that can be used in battle. This backpack also covers his green Guild Mark that is on his back. When using his Magic, he can grow a pair of large, feathered, angel-like wings that allow him to fly around and carry others. Happy usually does not wear clothes, the only few times were during the Fantasia Parade, to disguise himself in Edolas, and when his parents gave him clothes.
Despite his small stature and eccentric appearance, Happy is very loyal to his teammates and fellow guild members and has a fairly significant amount of knowledge of the Magic world, in some cases, more than Lucy and Natsu. Given that he was around Natsu Dragneel since his birth, Happy often emulates Natsu in his actions and responses. He is quick-witted and cheeky, especially to Lucy Heartfilia; however, Happy sometimes shows little bits of a darker nature, especially when making a comment on the devastating aspects of the Magic of his comrades.
He loves fish and dislikes dogs (except for Plue). He offers a comic relief with his catchphrase, "Aye!". He holds a strange attraction to Exceed like himself and drools on Loke's shoulder when he finds out that Loke is a lion. Happy has also developed a strong affection towards Carla, another Exceed who at first blows him off, but then begins to respect him.
Carla[]
Carla (シャルル Sharuru) is an Exceed, the daughter of Queen Shagotte, and a close companion of Wendy Marvell. She and Wendy belonged to Cait Shelter Guild before joining Fairy Tail.
Carla is a small, white Exceed with pink ears and brown eyes, which are smaller than Happy's eyes. She also has two whiskers on each side of her face. Carla wears a pink bow near the end of her tail. Carla's usual top consists of a mustard yellow and pink top with a pink bow tie. She wears a pink skirt with this top. Carla, like the other characters, seems to switch outfits every arc. When Carla uses Magic, she sprouts two angelic-like wings to fly. Her pink Guild Mark is located on her back.
Unlike the carefree Happy, Carla is very strict and serious most of the time, rarely showing emotions. She cares about Wendy like a mother. She was at first very aloof, turning her nose up at seemingly everyone save for Wendy. She also tries to get Wendy to shy away from her timid personality, scolding her often for it (which is ironic considering she's not very sociable herself).
As she learns about her mission as an Exceed, she is shocked and sad. She displayed a troubled look when she thought about her mission, later revealed to be a prophecy involving Extalia's demise due to her ability to see the future which she inherited from her mother.
Happy instantly took a liking to her from the moment they met, but she at first despised him, referring to him as "male cat" and ignoring his fish offerings. Later, when they learn the "truth" of their mission he defends her by saying they are Mages of Fairy Tail, not puppets and she starts accepting him after seeing his determination to save their friends as well as from seeing him show a more serious and brave side. Happy saved Carla when they escaped and she almost fell out of a wagon and she in turn saved him from the Edolas Royal Army soldiers by taking a direct blast aimed for him. She also has no doubts and extreme confidence when Happy flies off on his own. When Lily was mentioned as being the strongest out of their group, she put up a smirk and tempted Happy into having a match against him. Recently, she has been shown to smile more, usually with Happy near by, danced with him when he asked, and even laughed when Happy pointed out Lily's cute side.
Her Guild Card also explains that she likes Darjeeling Tea and doesn't like tomcats.
History[]
Years ago, before Happy and Carla were born, one hundred exceeds eggs were taken from their parents to and sent to Earth Land on a mission to obliterate the Dragon Slayers, although they were actually sent to Earth Land to escape a future disaster in Edolas. Happy was taken away from his parents, Lucky and Marl, while Carla was taken away from the queen of Extalia, Shagotte.
Happy's History[]
Young Happy
Natsu found Happy's egg in the East Forest of Magnolia Town in a tree. Natsu then took it back to the guild where he and Lisanna raised it together everyday. One night Elfman took it to keep it warm and the next day when he brought it back, it began to hatch and out popped a cat with a pair of wings. Happy's first word was Aye. Natsu gave him the name Happy after Lisanna pointed out the change of the atmosphere from anger to happiness after Happy hatched from the egg. Despite everyone else seeing him as a cat, Natsu thought he was a dragon.
Carla's History[]
Young Carla
Carla's home world also is Edolas, kingdom of Extalia, and she's one of the Exceeds. While in her egg, Carla's power of precognition activated. She mistakenly believed she had a mission to go to Earth Land to kill a Dragon Slayer. In actuality, the discussion she heard was a lie to the people of Edolas, to cover up the Queen's plan to save the Exceed race, as she knew Extalia would be destroyed. Sometime before the start of the series before Carla was born, she was taken away from her mother, Queen Shagotte, to be sent through the Anima to escape a future disaster. One day Wendy found her egg, and when she was born she saw visions involving the Royal Army of Edolas. Since her birth, she kept on believing she was sent to kill Wendy.
Relationship[]
Carla is Happy's love interest. Happy first met Carla at Master Bob's Palace during the first assembly of the alliance assigned to defeat the members of Oración Seis and immediately fell in love with the female cat as he even asked Lucy to give her a fish from him. Carla, however, ignored him despite Happy's attempts to impress her. This attitude continued even after Carla's joining of Fairy Tail and even worsened as she began to be hostile towards Happy, telling him to not hang around her. Carla's hostility is later revealed to have rooted from her and Happy being from another world, Edolas and with Happy not knowing anything about it.
Not interested
The two later went to Edolas with Natsu and Wendy in order to save their guild mates and the townspeople of Magnolia and were subsequently returned to Extalia, their homeland where they were informed about the true nature of their mission. Though horrified, Happy stood up for him and Carla, telling their kinsmen, the Exceeds, that they are not their puppets and that they are Mages of Fairy Tail. Hearing Happy's words gave Carla some hope and even prompted her to call Happy by his name for the first time.
Happy defending Carla
The two later returned to Earth Land with their friends and Carla began to be friendly towards Happy, encouraging him to not give up before trying while Natsu and Gajeel were forcing him to fight Pantherlily and even accepted his invitation to dance with him. Happy considers Carla as one of his friends and deeply cares for her as seen when he was on the verge of tears when she was injured while strolling with Wendy prior to the start of the Grand Magic Games.
During the Eclipse Celestial Spirits arc, Carla is seen blushing when Happy saves her and says he wants to protect the ones he loves. In Tartaros, Carla cries thinking that Happy was dead, but then smiles when he was alive. That does not happen when Lucy from the future dies, besides that the few times she cries is when they hurt Wendy, showing that Carla has a special appreciation for Happy.
Carla also has an immense amount of trust in Happy. This is evident by when Gray expressed concern at Natsu rushing off to fight Zeref alone, to which Carla stated that Natsu wasn't alone, and that he had Happy with him. This shows a great level of trust, especially when taking into account that the enemy in question was Zeref of all people.

Oraciòn Seis Arc[]
Happy in love
Carla is introduced no sooner then after Wendy at the coalition between Fairy Tail, Lamia Scale, Blue Pegasus, and Cait Shelter. She does most of the talking for the two, imploring to the alliance that Wendy is powerful despite her appearance. After the matter settled, the group discuss who the Oración Seis are and their plan to stop them, then headed off to find them, with Carla dragging a hesitant Wendy along. When the alliance unexpectedly find their target, she stays with Wendy and Happy as the three watch the others fight and get trounced by the Oración Seis. When Brain spots Wendy and grabs her, Wendy tries to reach for Carla but grabs Happy by mistake as the two are kidnapped. After being saved from death by Jura and Ichiya, the group notice Erza been poisoned causing the members to argue among themselves on how to handle the situation. Carla however is the one to calm everyone down, revealing that Wendy is the Sky Dragon Slayer and her healing Magic could fix the problem. But to rescue her the group has to work together to achieve their goal. The others agree and rally together before splitting up to find their kidnapped comrades.
The confrontation with Racer
Soon Carla, Gray and Natsu reach a cave entrance to the Oración Seis base, but come into confrontation with Racer. Gray holds him off while Natsu and Carla enter the cave to look for their friends.They find them but also see that Wendy has resurrected Jellal as well much to Carla's shock that Wendy used her Magic so rashly. Wendy faints from overexertion and Jellal leaves the cave after knocking down Natsu and Brain. When Natsu recovers and tries to go after Jellal, Carla roughly reminds him of saving Erza first which he grudgingly agrees to. The two leave the cave with Happy and Wendy in tow but are knocked out of the air by Racer when he spots them during his battle with Gray. Carla and Happy are both knocked out from the fall, forcing Natsu to grab them both and run whilst Gray continues to hold off Racer.
Lahar's men appears.
After the defeat of Zero by Natsu and the crumbling of Nirvana, Rune Knights came and saying Jellal and Hoteye must be imprisoned. Happy, Carla and along the others, tries to fight off the Rune Knights, but fails as Lahar came suddenly. Minutes passed, Jellal and Hoteye is imprisoned, leaving Happy, Carla and others with a lonely face.
Daphne Arc[]

Happy and Carla joins Natsu and Wendy going to Daphne's room
Carla stays by Wendy as she chooses a job to do. After Wendy hears about a person who is rumored to have seen a dragon, Carla accompanies Wendy, Natsu, and Happy on the mission to find her.
When they arrive, the inn Gray directed them to is completely empty. After searching around, they find a door leading to Daphne. She comes out, greeting them very enthusiastically, as she tries to sell her diet product, Metamo. When she finally quiets down, and is told why Wendy and Natsu are here, she confesses she made the lie about her seeing a dragon up to help sales. Angered, the gang tries to leave, but is trapped in the room by Daphne's Concealment Magic. Gray soon appears, revealing he was conspiring with Daphne. He then challenges Natsu to a battle to settle everything once and for all.
Natsu forcely "opens" the door
As they watch the fight, Carla brings up the question to whether the man before them is the real Gray, but after he strips, their doubts are cleared. As Natsu and Gray fight around the inn, Happy, Wendy, and Carla try to keep track of them. Daphne also follows them, and explains that the inn they are trapped inside is merely an illusion and doesn't actually exist. From the windows, Daphne shows them group Erza and Lucy, who came upon the inn searching for all of them. They watch as they struggle against Daphne's artificial lifeforms, Lizardmen.
Daphne tells Wendy that Gray is on her side
After the battle between Natsu and Gray ends, Gray traps Natsu by his feet, allowing Daphne to trap him in her spell. From there, she uses Natsu's Magical Power to fuel another one of her inventions, the Dragonoid. Wendy, Carla, and Happy are able to fly out of the inn after its rise, and explain the situation to Erza and Lucy, including Gray's betrayal.
Happy breathing fire
After Daphne reveals her lifelong ambition of creating an artificial dragon, Wakaba, Macao and Elfman soon arrive. Elfman is able to knock out Gray, but the situation worsens when the Dragonoid takes flight to Magnolia. Erza says she will stop the Dragonoid, and that everyone else should mobilize at camp.
The group eventually arrives at Magnolia, and mobilizes with Fairy Tail in Magnolia Town to fight the Dragonoid. Wendy finds the cake shop owner, injured on the ground. She heals him, but faints shortly after. Carla gets worried, but still sticks by Fairy Tail as they fight of Lizardmen. Eventually, the guild defeats the Dragonoid, as well as the rest of the Lizardmen. She celebrates with the guild afterwards.
Edolas Arc[]
Happy brings a gift for Carla
After Nirvana is defeated, Carla joins Fairy Tail along with Wendy. When Wendy asks her how she likes the guild, she seems unimpressed. Carla begins showing open hostility to Happy when he tries again to offer her a fish, to which she responds that she doesn't like fish and he should leave her alone. She runs outside, and Happy follows her to find out what he did. She tells him that he didn't do anything wrong, but that he can't protect Natsu like she protects Wendy. She says that Happy doesn't even know what he is.
Carla and Happy before going through Anima
Wendy is too late, and the town disappears. Carla finds Wendy just after she finds Natsu safe. There, she explains to them and Happy that the King of Edolas is using the hyper-dimensional Anima spell to bring all the Magic of Magnolia to the dried-up world of Edolas. She reveals that both her and Happy are from there, and were born on Earth Land with a mission already in their bones. However, she does not reveal what it is.
Happy, Carla, Wendy and Natsu arriving at Edolas
After spending a bit of time at the Edolas Fairy Tail, Carla realizes that it is not the same guild as the Earth Land Fairy Tail, but rather an alternate version of it. She deduces that the Earth Land Fairy Tail is probably in the Royal City. The group travels to the location and surprisingly finds Lucy, who apparently still has access to all her Celestial Spirits. The Earth Land Mages see that a gigantic lacrima crystal in the city that contains everyone's essence and Magic is under heavy guard and there is nothing they can do.
Knightwalker and the army bows to the exeeds
Carla puts forward a plan where the Mages will travel through an abandoned coal mine to the royal bed chamber and use Gemini to copy the kings knowledge of the giant lacrima and how to release their friends safely. As they begin their mission, they are ambushed by the Edolas version of Erza, Erza Knightwalker. Then, much to everyone's shock, all the soldiers bow to Happy and Carla and call them the Exceeds, congratulating them on leading the Mages into the trap. After Natsu convinces her to bring them to Edolas to save everyone, she makes them promise not to ask her more about the mission, not to ask her to be a guide, and to kill her and Happy if there is a chance of them betraying Natsu and Wendy.Before anyone can ask any more, she flies Wendy to Edolas through the leftover Anima spell, her wings enabling her to do so. Happy follows with Natsu and they make it through, flying over the bizarre world.
Happy and Carla learn about their mission
Carla and Happy meet up with other Exceeds and learn of their true mission. They were originally sent to kill Dragon Slayers but at the last minute, their mission was changed to capturing the dragon slayers for their unique Magical energy. Realizing she completed her mission even though she did not intentionally want to, she breaks down in tears for what she has done. Just as she was about to lose faith, Happy stands up for her. He explains they are nobody's puppets and that they are still Mages of Fairy Tail. This makes her have a glimmer of hope and even makes her call Happy by his name for once instead of "Male Cat". Happy grabs Carla and decides that they will rescue their friends themselves, causing a rebellion against the kingdom.
Lucky found Happy and Carla
After running away from the guards, they end up at two Exceeds house at the edge of Extalia. The Exceed recognizes them as rebels, but still decide to shelter them telling them to hide in their house. Later on all four of them have a conversation about bonds and friends, which reignites Carla's will to continue on and save everyone. With their confidence restored in the friendships they hold with Natsu, Wendy, and the rest of the guild, they are finally able to fly into the sky.
Happy and Carla regain their ability to fly
After returning to Edolas, they manage to save Lucy from the hands of Erza Knightwalker. Carla tries to exploit her lack of information and presents herself as Extalia's princess. She then tricks Erza into releasing Wendy and Natsu, which almost succeeds.Unfortunately, the rest of the royal guard arrives, and Lily informs Erza Knightwalker that Carla and Happy are the traitors of Extalia. All three attempt to escape, and Carla asks Lucy if she's angry at them. Lucy is very surprised by this question as she really doesn't know for what she should be angry for. Carla says that it is their fault that she got caught in the first place, and Lucy replies that they had come to save her, and then she adds that she is more surprised by the fact that Carla is a princess. Carla then reveals that it was a bluff. Unfortunately, the group is then attacked by Extalia troops and Edolas Militia from both the sky and ground.However, Faust decides that this is the perfect moment to use Code ETD, which turns the Extalia troops into a lacrima.
Carla sheilded by Happy
Making use of the confusion, the group escapes into the West Tower to save Natsu and Wendy. However, they are intercepted by Erza Knightwalker again on the way there, and she throws her spear into the ground, creating a large explosion that injures Happy, Carla and Lucy.Despite her injuries, Carla immediately demands to know where Wendy is, and she becomes even more distraught after hearing Wendy scream for help. As Erza raises her weapon to kill Carla, Happy steps in to protect Carla. Thankfully, Erza (Scarlet)and Gray appear, bashing the soldiers.
The group splits
When Natsu shows up, the group decides to split into two. Wendy tells Carla that the two of them are going to stop the lacrima from hitting Extalia. Carla does not agree saying she doesn't care about the Exceed. Wendy just tells her that it doesn't matter who they are since they are still living creatures, making Carla agree.While heading towards where Natsu and Wendy are, she learns that Dragon Slayer Magic can be used to release anyone trapped in the lacrima. Happy flies towards Gajeel since he knows where the lacrima crystal is located. She doesn't scold or worry about Happy leaving on his own, and has full confidence that he will be fine. She later arrives at the room where Natsu and Wendy are and finds them unconscious. However Gray manages to feed them some X-balls he got from Mystogan and they regain consciousness. Later Wendy tells her and the others about Faust's plan of using the lacrima where everyone is trapped in as a bomb, to crash into and destroy Extalia.
Edolas Fairy Tail against the Edolas troops
Lucy, Coco, Gray, Happy, and Carla fall into a forest. Edolas troops show up. The troops spot Carla and Happy and aim to turn them into lacrima since they are the only two left. Gray attacks and protects them. Lucy summons Loke and Carla and Happy dodges beams of Magic, but Carla jumps in front of one to protect Happy. They start to lose when even more reinforcements arrive, but then Edolas Fairy Tail comes to the rescue and helps them fight. When Mystogan starts taking all the Magic away from Edolas, the troops lose their Magic weapons and retreat. Everyone panics including Edolas Fairy Tail. Finally when all the Magic is gone, all the Earth Land Fairy Tail members start being sucked into the Anima as well returning back to their home.They all say goodbye to Edolas Fairy Tail and Coco.
The Group returns
Returning back to Earth Land, Carla is surprised that all the Exceed were sucked into Earth Land as well. Carla immediately requests them to go back to Edolas. The Exceeds apologize for their actions back on Extalia, such as throwing rocks. Carla disregards it and shouts at the queen for the mission that the Exceeds had given her. The Exceed Elders and Shagotte explain everything, including Carla's ability to foresee the future, and her misinterpretation that there was a mission to eliminate Dragon Slayers. After hearing the truth, and the Exceeds' new resolve, Carla accepts their arrival to Earth Land. However, Carla wonders why she and Shagotte have the same ability, which the Elders and Shagotte pretend not to know either. As the Exceed are about to leave, Shagotte gives Carla one final hug, saying that they can see each other anytime now. Carla, not knowing why, feels a deep warmth from her.
After the Exceed leave, Pantherlily appears in a new form and brings forth Lisanna. Lisanna reveals to be actually Earth Land Lisanna.With this, everyone brings Lisanna back to her siblings for a tearful reunion.
Tenrou Island Arc[]
Following their return to the guild, Carla is more open with everyone. She later jokes with Happy and Lily about fighting one-another to see who was stronger.
Wendy healing Natsu and Makarov
After Natsu's battle with Zancrow concluded, Wendy and the cats are seen over the unconscious Natsu and barely conscious Makarov, with Wendy trying to heal them. After Natsu wakes up and asks them where Makarov is, she tells him that Makarov can't speak at the moment. He then picks up a familiar scent of a former enemy they fought on Galuna Island and walks off, despite the cats' protests.
Carla relays the status report
After some time, and the return of Natsu, Lucy and Happy, Doranbolt eventually appears before everyone. Carla is shocked when Doranbolt proposes to help Fairy Tail, but she agrees with everyone else when they state they can take care of their own problems.
Carla comes back from her scouting mission and informs Natsu and the others that Pantherlily was at camp with the injured. With this information, they move out, with Natsu carrying Makarov on his shoulders. Later, she, along with Lucy, Happy, Wendy and Natsu, is confronted and beaten in one blow by Grimoire Heart member Bluenote Stinger.
Carla and Happy amazed at Gildarts' power
Carla is surprised when Cana arrives and fights Bluenote. She watches as Cana is overpowered by Bluenote and is seen relieved and happy when Gildarts arrives to stop him from killing her. After Gildarts' arrival he orders everyone to get away, and the force from Gildarts and Bluenote clashing sends Carla and the others flying. Realizing that they'd only be in Gildarts' way they all decide to leave. Later, when Azuma destroys the Great Tenrou Tree, Carla collapses along with the other members of Fairy Tail. After Erza defeats Azuma, Carla and the others return to the camp and discover their friends are injured. Wendy tries to heal them using her Magic, but Carla and Happy disagree with the idea since she already exhausted her Magical Power and suggests that she rests for a while.
Happy and Carla destroy Hades' "heart"
As the cats continue to search the ship they crawl through a vent. Happy looks down through one of the vent cages and sees something and claims it was "alive". Carla, Panther Lily, and Happy all stare at it in shock.The cats go into the room. Carla looks at the supposed power source and says it doesn't look like one at all. Just then,a group of Grimoire Heart members enter the room and attack the cats. Carla and Happy agree to try to stop the power source, as Panther Lily fights off the Grimoire Heart members. Carla and Happy start pulling on chains and anything they can find, in an attempt to mess with the power source. While at the camp, Carla and Happy comment on Panther Lily's fear of lightning, making light fun of him. Carla then moves out with the others as they go to attack Master Hades. Carla goes to confront Hades at the boat belonging to Grimoire Heart, along with Happy, Panther Lily, Gray, Wendy, Natsu, Lucy, and Erza. After Hades challenges the rest of Fairy Tail, Natsu asks the cats to search around Grimoire Heart's Airship to make sure it wouldn't be able to take off during battle. Carla agrees and tells Wendy to be careful, before she sets off with Happy and Lily. While Team Natsu fights Hades, the cats are interrupted by the sound of thunder. Panther Lily gets scared again, thinking the ship was soundproof at first. Carla and Happy tell him to settle down as they continue searching in the ship. When Laxus arrives, the part of the ship the cats were on starts to spark with electricity. Happy and Panther Lily both get scared, thinking they're falling, but Carla tells both of them to calm down. While Natsu clashed with Hades for the final time, Happy and Carla managed to kill the power source, which turned out to be Hades's real heart.
With Hades's "heart" destroyed, the fearsome Guild Master lost the majority of his Magic Power, leading to his final defeat. Afterwards, they run out of the airship, being chased by Grimoire Heart members. Happy calls out for help to Team Natsu, but they are all out of Magic. Just then, Makarov, along with other wounded Fairy Tail members show up, and scare the rest of Grimoire Heart off. The group all cheer for their victory. Later on, Wendy and Carla go spy on the Thunder God and Laxus. Wendy is nervous about meeting Laxus, until Erza comes over, and convinces her to forget the rumors she heard about him, and to go greet him. Wendy loses her timidness and agrees to go. Everything is disrupted when the "Black Dragon of the Apocalypse", Acnologia, lands on Tenrou Island, and goes on a rampage, attacking the guild members, and destroying the island. Carla and Wendy run with the rest of the guild towards their ship to escape. As they run, Carla asks Wendy if she can communicate with dragons. Wendy says she cannot speak the dragons' tongue, but dragons should be able to understand human words. When Makarov fends off the guild from the dragon, Carla, along with the rest of the guild, endures Makarov's final order to leave him behind and escape.
Fairy Tail Members Hold Hands
After everyone on the island shortly returns to attack Acnologia and save Makarov, Carla watches with Pantherlily and Happy, as the dragon flies into the air. As the dragon prepares its final attack to destroy the island, all the Fairy Tail members hold hands, as Tenrou Island is destroyed by Acnologia's Dragon Roar.
X791 Arc[]
After Tenrou Team's rescue by some Fairy Tail members and The Trimens of Blue Pegasus seven years after the disappearance of Tenrou Island, they return to the Fairy Tail Guild to be welcomed by the members with a party

Happy and Carla preparing for the ball
Carla, along with Happy, sees Fairy Tail practicing social dancing, however she becomes confused as to why Warren asked Wendy to dance. Happy then asks her to dance, and she accepts. Later, in Count Balsamico's Castle, she along with Team Natsu, Warren and Elfman is greeted by the Count and he tells them about their job to protect his families ring and capture notorious criminal Velveno. Later, Carla is seen outside along with Happy and Warren investigating the ball using a Communication Lacrima. Carla, Happy and Warren later discover that the young boy Wendy is dancing with is tied up, and that the Wendy is dancing with the real Velveno.
In the guild, Carla is listening to Natsu being angry about being kicked out of Lucy's apartment. She states that Lucy has a right to be angry because them trespassing is a flagrant breach of manners. Carla then quietly watches the guild start fighting. When Erza also joins in, she comments that Erza hasn't matured either. When they find Lucy, she and the others listen to her as she explains how she became invisible. Carla then comes back with Wendy from Lucy's room and brings the Magic ointment. When Lucy starts to vanish, Carla explains that Lucy's stuff will also vanish, including the bottle. After Lucy vanishes, Carla and the others go back to their work, having forgotten about her. When Lucy turns back to normal, Happy spills the ointment, which makes everyone invisible except Lucy.Carla, along with Natsu, Wendy, Lucy and Happy, takes a job to guard gold in a freight cart, where she later states to Wendy that Natsu has gotten used to Troia and that he is now immune to it. Carla, Happy and Lucy try to help Wendy out of her depression. The Jiggle Butt Gang then attack them, with Lucy, Happy and Carla falling out of the cart. She, along with Happy, tries to lift Lucy from falling into a river, but due to the stink they can't focus correctly and fall. They are then seen in the river washing off the smell. Carla, Happy and Lucy then fly to the top of the cart and are disturbed to see Wendy in the Jiggle Butt Gang's outfit. She, along with Lucy, gets angry at the Jiggle Butt Gang for what happened to Wendy and attempt to fight back in retaliation; however, they are unable to do so because of Wendy's interference. Carla, as well as Lucy, is stunned by how easily Wendy was able to manipulate the notorious criminals. Carla adds that it's "her style".
Carla is seen sitting with Wendy, Happy, Lucy and Kinana discussing the recent church bombings in the area. She mentions that her precognition powers are not working correctly due to the seven year time skip, and she therefore cannot see clear images related to the attacks. Later she, along with the rest of the guild, quietly listens to Michelle’s story upon the girls arrival. Carla appears visibly uneasy when Michelle's case is opened, but when questioned about it she simply says that it’s nothing and moves on. Some time after this, she is found in the guild with Macao and Wakaba awaiting Laki’s arrival with the information Wakaba sent Laki to retrieve regarding the Lobster family; listening intently as Laki reads the report. She thinks to herself how she is worried about something just as the mysterious object from Jude falls to the floor and begins to levitate and glow.
Carla stands in shock along with Pantherlily and Happy at the strangers before them, and questions Coco as to why she is in Earth Land. Carla then realizes that the three are behind the recent church attacks and becomes wary of them. When the intruders attack the guild members, Carla, with help from Pantherlily, flies Wendy to safety above the chaos. Carla then later flies with Wendy and Pantherlily in search of Lucy and Michelle. Before the group can find either of the girls however, they are attacked by Coco, who has followed them in search of Lucy herself.
Carla notices that the clock part of her team is glowing, along with the other parts in other areas. Carla, along with Cana, Wendy and Erza, as well as the other Fairy Tail Mages who had acquired their own clock parts, arrives at the Zentopia Graveyard, where Lucy's group fights against Byro. She watches the Fairy Tail Mages' attempt to defeat Byro by combining their skills, only to fail because of the latter's Nullification Magic. Carla is later present when the Infinity Clock parts are united, creating the clock once again, and witnesses the appearance of the group formerly known as the Oracion Seis.
The Guild members are later rescued by Blue Pegasus and taken to their building, where Carla recuperates.
Grand Magic Games Arc[]
When Carla, Natsu, Gray, Wendy, Happy and Lucy visit Porlyusica in an attempt to obtain a drug to make them stronger, they are shooed away by her. After running away, Carla grows concerned over Wendy and asks if she had met Porlyusica before. Although she hasn't, Wendy tells everyone Porlyusica reminded her a lot about Grandeeney. Porlyusica later informs them that she is Grandeeney's Edolas counterpart and hands Wendy a Sky Magic book containing spells that Grandeeney was unable to teach her.
The group meets Crime Sociere
The group hears about the upcoming Grand Magic Games from the other members, which will be held in three months. Psyched with the opportunity to become Fiore's number one guild again, they head off to train. Carla tags along with Team Natsu, Juvia, Levy and Wendy to their training by the beach.
On the second day of their training, Virgo pays a surprise visit and takes them all to the Celestial Spirit World. Upon arriving, the spirits throw a party to celebrate their freedom from the time freeze on Tenrou Island. The group indeed parties without a second thought. After the day ends, they are sent back to Earth Land only to discover that a day in the Celestial Spirit World is equal to three months on Earth Land, completely eliminating their training time and leaving them with only five more days until the Games.
The team is invited by Crime Sociere to a suspension bridge in the West Woods. After a brief reunion, Ultear decides to increase everyone in Fairy Tail's power by activating their "Second Origin" with her Arc of Time in exchange for investigating a strange Magical force surrounding the Magic Games in their place. Carla and Happy, however, do not take part in the same treatment and are left to watch and wait until the pain caused by the Magic in the others has gone away.
Carla accompanies Wendy in exploring Crocus before the Games and they reach the Mercurius castle. A small dark figure looks at them from above. Wendy and Carla are late for the 12:00 midnight curfew when the preliminary round of the games begin. Lisanna and Happy go off to search for her and Carla. Lisanna and Happy's search leads them to Wendy's bag which has fallen on the ground. The two find Wendy and Carla and bring them to their room where Happy is shown to be very worried for Carla.
Even though Elfman won his battle against Bacchus, he was heavily injured, so he ended up in the hospital in Carla and Wendy's place. As the team walks back to the stadium with Lisanna and Carla, they start wondering why Raven Tail would go to such lengths to sabotage them, with Carla stressing on the fact that Lucy was the one who was being specifically targeted. However Carla decides to put it out of her mind when she reaches the stadium, where she is warmly greeted by Happy, and instead focuses on cheering for Mirajane, who is up against Jenny Realight from Team Blue Pegasus. She is shocked and embarrassed to see that their duel has turned into a swimsuit battle.
After the days games end, Carla and some of the other members of Team A have dinner and then head towards their lodging, only to see Yukino standing outside Honeybone.After inviting the excommunicated Sabertooth Mage inside, Yukino surprises them all by offering her two Golden Gate Keys to Lucy, and then goes on to explain that she will be replaced from the next match onward. When Carla and Happy ask whether or not she was one of the "strongest 5" of Sabertooth, Yukino explains that she was merely a replacement for Minerva, who was out on a mission. After Lucy politely refuses to take her keys, the girls go for a bath. Wendy and Carla then ask Lucy why she didn't accept the keys, to which Lucy responds that she didn't want to break the bonds between the Spirits and their Mage. Lucy then asks what happened to Natsu and Happy, to which they answer, saying that he went after Yukino.
Fairy Tail cheers over their victory
During the third day's battle portion, Carla is seen cheering along with the other members of Fairy Tail about Laxus' victory against Team Raven Tail. When it's Wendy's turn to battle, Wendy trips, which makes Carla wonder if she is going to be fine.
Later, Carla is seen worrying about Wendy after the midway of the battle between Wendy and Chelia. After Chelia's special attack misses, she explains that Wendy can not heal herself but can relieve the fatigue of others. When the battle is declared a draw, she scolds Happy for crying but can not help but cry herself.
Later, Carla and the other Fairy Tail members are seen partying at a local bar for their successful day. As Wendy talks about how she couldn't win, Carla assures her that she did great.
Carla, with Happy and Pantherlily, watches anxiously as Team Sabertooth confronts Team Fairy Tail A after Minerva drops Lucy. Later, after listening to Makarov about combining the teams, she asks about the points, which Makarov replies that thy will let them keep the lowest points. Carla, with Wendy, watches as the new team Fairy Tail comes in.
Eclipse Celestial Spirits Arc[]

Sun Village Arc[]
Happy, Carla with Wendy, and the rest of Team Natsu then wake their way to Walrod Cken's house, with Happy in particular noting that with the location as scenic as it is, it feels as though they're going on a picnic. After Wendy notices Walrod's house, Happy and the others enter it, but are quickly silenced by the Ten Wizard Saint; Happy is then surprised to see the flowers inside the man's house bloom around him as he counters his previous statement, claiming that he was joking and that the flowers loves voices. Happy, as well as Carla, are then picked up by Walrod, who confuses the two with Natsu and Gray, claiming that they look for cat-ish than expected; he quickly dismisses this as a joke as well. Happy and Carla, with the others then relocate outside, where Walrod describes his request: to unfreeze all the people and the Eternal Flame in the Village of the Sun. Walrod adds that the villagers whom are trapped in the ice are still alive, leaving Happy and Carla shocked. Following a short explanation about why he is unable to do the task himself, Happy, Carla and the other members of Team Natsu look at each other, and they all decide to accept Walrod's request. Walrod then has them stand orders them to turn right; Happy turns left instead. However, a tree then rises from the ground, and carries Happy with Carla, and the rest of Team Natsu the needed 2,000 kilometer to reach the Village of the Sun. While riding on top of the tree, Happy marvels at the scenery below.
When Happy and Carla with the other Fairy Tail Mages reach the Village of the Sun, Happy points out that the village is frozen solid. Both Natsu and Happy are shocked to find out that the village is in fact a village of giants. When Natsu attempts to use his Magic to melt the ice that is trapping the giants, Happy encourages him and cheers him on. However, Natsu fails, and Happy agrees that it is not easy as they thought. When members from a treasure hunter guild, Sylph Labyrinth, appear and ask the Happy and Carla with the Mages what they are doing there, Happy answers that they are trying to melt the ice and save the villagers. When it appears that Sylph Labyrinth plans to use Moon Drip to get the treasure they want, Happy recognizes the substance, and the Fairy Tail Mages decide to steal it from the treasure hunters in order to save the villagers. As everyone takes off after the treasure hunters, Lucy and Wendy notice that Erza is not with them, prompting Happy and Carla to imagine her attacking the frozen giants hoping to fix things, which Carla turns unto total shock. During their battle, a shot is fired at the members of Fairy Tail. Upon seeing this, Carla immediately turns back to back with Happy as they search for where the bullet came from.
Following this assault, Carla stands beside Wendy, awaiting the next attack. Then, after Gray steals the treasure hunters' Moon Drip, Wendy throws the stolen bottle to Carla, who in turn throws it Happy; the Exceed fails to catch the bottle, resulting in it smashing upon contact with the ground, spilling its contents all over the frozen ice, leaving her utterly flabbergasted. Natsu, however, suddenly hears a voice from coming from underneath the partially melted ice, resulting in him darting off to find the source. Carla and the rest of the team present then make haste and run to catch up with the Fire Dragon Slayer. After losing Natsu, Happy and Carla take to the air to look for him. Carla later stops her aerial search and cowers under the root of a tree, alongside Happy, in fear of the demonic avian creature flying above; the two Exceed conclude that until it disappears, their search of the skies will be halted.
Affected by Doriate's Retrogression Magic, Happy and Carla come crashing down onto the ground near Gray's current standing position, quickly updating the latter on their inability to fly. Then Happy takes a glace at Gray's opponent and screams in fear, questioning its physique. He then watches as Gray struggles to keep up against the Demon, and steps in to save him from an impending assault. However, in return, he receives a punch to the face when he does so. After Gray defeats the Demon with the surrounding ice, Happy cheers along with Carla as they return to their former appearance, but their joy is short-lived as the creature that kept them from patrolling the skies earlier enters the fray.

Happy with Lucy and Natsu arrived in Margaret town where met a girl which resembled Carla. During her training in Lamia Scale the exceed unlocked a power similar to Panther Lily's one gaining a new form. In human form her powers are stronger. Happy preferred the old form. Natsu, Lucy and Lamia Scale defeated Orochi's fin and Wendy & Carla rejoined Natsu's group.The group moved toward the city where it rain all the day and found Juvia.The members of Team Fairy Tail A (with Juvia instead of Elfmann) defeated Avatar's cultist.
